Terms of use

Using the service

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You are responsible for what you write and share, and for who you give the link to.
• The service is provided as it is, without a promise that it is always available or that rooms will not be lost.

What is not allowed

• Anything illegal, including threats, harassment, hate speech and content that exploits children.
• Spam, scams, phishing and spreading malware.
• Using the service to attack, overload or probe it.
• Pretending to be someone else to deceive people.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report a room by emailing abuse@tempchat.cool. We cannot read rooms ourselves. If a report, with the messages the reporter chooses to share, shows a room breaks these terms, we delete the room for everyone. The page for a removed room tells visitors the reason. Where the law requires it, we pass threats to life and child sexual abuse material to the authorities.

Your content

Your messages are yours. We only store them in encrypted form so the room works, and delete them when the room ends.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage from using the service, including lost messages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. Questions: contact@tempchat.cool.
