A temporary chat room that deletes itself
A temporary chat room is a group chat that disappears on its own. On tempchat.cool you make one in a tap, share the link, and chat. It is end-to-end encrypted, needs no account or app, and deletes everything after 1, 24 or 36 hours.
How to make a temporary chat room
- 01
Pick how long it lasts
Choose 1, 24 or 36 hours. The countdown starts when the first person joins, so you can make the room ahead of time.
- 02
Share the link
Send the link in WhatsApp, Signal, email or as a QR code. Up to 10 people can join for free.
- 03
Chat, then poof
When the countdown ends, the room and every message in it are deleted from our servers.
What people use it for
- Planning a trip, a party or a surprise without making yet another group.
- Talking with people you do not want to give your phone number to.
- A quick private discussion that should not stay in anyone's chat history.
- Sharing a link or a password for a few hours, then letting it vanish.
What makes it different
Most group chats keep everything forever and need an account or a phone number. A tempchat.cool room is the opposite: nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, and an end date from the start. If nobody joins, it deletes itself after 7 days.
